The problem
The storefront needed UI pieces that did not exist yet, and UI/UX bugs in what was already live. New components and fixes had to land without touching the backend or the rest of checkout.

Technical decisions
Frontend support on a team that already owned the product. React and Next.js. The cut was the visual layer: new components and interface patches, not catalog or payments.
Frontend only
The product and the server already existed. The job was the UI: ship components and close interface bugs, not redesign the store.
React and Next.js
That was the storefront stack. I joined that codebase, not to replace the platform.

Interface
Ecommerce web. Visual components and UI/UX fixes on the storefront. No public screenshots.

Result
Shipped on the client's product, on a team. No publishable metrics or URL. It was the first freelance job where I was already programming: the oldest on this list.

Learnings
On someone else's ecommerce the job is to add the requested piece and not break the UI the shopper already uses. That does not show up on a solo site.
